I recently installed a wordpress blog on my website and have been having trouble getting it indexed by google for the term Hudson Valley Real Estate blog. I can't get it indexed at all.
For those of you who use word press, you more than likely know about the permalink option in the administration. By default, every blog entry has a url that looks like this:
nutshellrealty.com/blog/?p=3
I changed the permalink option so the URL looks like this:
nutshellrealty.com/blog/welcome-to-prudential-nutshell-realtys-blog.html
My question is, is this the best option? With the permalink option you can change the URL to look and act like any type of page on the net i.e. .asp, .cfm, .php and of course. What type of page is best indexed by search engines.

The best thing to do is go to wordpress.org and get a title tag plugin. Or a SEO plugin.
Don't worry about getting indexed to much. If you post blogs and get some links out on sites like activerain the search engines will find you. Make sure to get the ping optimizor plugin! If you email me i'll put together a list of the plugins i've got that are pretty good for wordpress.
most of this just take a little time...
