Stone Ridge is a Hamlet located within the town of Marbletown, nestled between the Shawangunk and the Catskills mountain ranges.  With a population of just over 6000 people, it is a small community rich with history.  The Main Street Historic District of Stone Ridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.  Many of the historic buildings that can still be seen today are old colonials and revitalized early American stone houses.

Agricultural Beginings

Early on, the biggest economic contributer to the town was its' agriculture.  With a good amount of wide open land, many farms still exist today each represented by a local farm stand where locals and visitors can buy fresh local produce.  Stone Ridge is also well know for some of the finest quality apples, small fruits, and sweet corn in the country.  Today, Stone Ridge is alive with a thriving small town economy.  Shops and restaurants add to the town's historic character each staying true to its' effort in maintaining the local economy by offering local products and foods.

Greatetst Real Estate Agent in the World - Saga Continues

Greatetst Real Estate Agent in the World

I am still going at it trying to rank for the Greatetst Real Estate Agent in the World contest.  It seems that my ActiveRain post made it to the 4th page on Google, so I am going to use that post as my entry unless something else happens.

More about the Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World contest.

So far it has been a blast.  Seeing these SEOs battle it out has been a learning experience to say the least.  There is some very creative people entered and to see what they are doing to get ranked is blowing my mind.  I used to think I had a pretty good grasp on this real estate seo thing until I entered this contest.

 A little update

greatest real estate agent in the world leaders

It looks like Eric Blackwell is in the lead. Eric is the Director of Technology for RE/MAX Properties East located not an actual agent.

Ryan Award is next.  He is a real estate group out of Atlanta.  Does a lot with Word Press.

Greg Boser AKA WebGuerrilla is a search engine marketing consultant.  He has been doing this since 95

Justin Smith is a coach for Real Estate Tomato.  He works with real estate agents looking to learn more about blogging and online real estate marketing.

Mike Taylor is the owner broker of Rebate Real Estate out of Indianpolis.

Where am I?  Currently I am buried on page 4 with my ActiveRain post.  I started a little late, so hopefully that is the reason I am behind.

Wish me luck!

Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World

Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World

Yes I am in the SEO contest for the Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World and this is my official entry.  If you haven't heard about it, some of the crew over at REW is having a contest to see who can get ranked the best for the term Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World.  So far, I have bought a domain name and made a couple posts on the topic hoping to get some brownie points with Google.  The domain name I bought was greatest-real-estate-agent-in-the-world-contest.com.  I put some content up on the domain name and linked a forum to it.

The link to my REW entry is greatest real estate agent in the world.

A site I created to hopefully get some SEO points: the-greatest-real-estate-agent-in-the-world-contest

As you can see, if you were to go to google and type in Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World you won't see my site anywhere.  This is mainly because I just started and the people I am competing with are among some of the most skilled real estate SEOs on the planet.

Attention SEOs !!!!!

If you are one of these SEO guys that is not in the contest and have any ideas, I would love to hear them.

So after I went and searched on Active Rain for people have the same idea to post usinfg Active Rain blogs, I noticed that I was not listed.  So I am back adding more content to see if I can't beef it up a little.  I must tell you how ever, the compeition is feirce.  I can not believe the amount of people going after the prize.
